In partnership with Practical Art and IN FLUX Cycle 6, Daniel Funkhouser celebrates the opening of Hey, I Made This For You, an interactive lighting installation. Funkhouser’s career was shaped through experiments with a variety of mediums and formats, constantly trying to discover unusual properties in familiar objects. Created specifically for Practical Art’s workshop room, Hey, I Made This For You is Funkhouser’s most ambitious installation to date. Since 2012 the artist has focused on combining his material experiments with color changing LED lights, creating dreamlike and immersive environments.
