The Re-birth of Venus

Installation Details

At the entry corridor for the convention center, Boos has installed plywood figures based on Botticelli’s painting, “The Birth of Venus”  painted in bright colors. Artificial flowers mimic the flowers in the background of the original painting, and the black background is embellished with white chalk.
