Rain Cloud Flower Bed

by Roy Wasson Valle

Dana Park
1758 S. Val Vista Drive
Mesa, AZ 85204

On view through November 1, 2015

Phoenix artist, Roy Wasson Valle, created this installation with one foot firmly planted in the here and now and the other in the fictional world of Crystal Burn, a place of the artist’s own creation where architecture and plant life play together. This otherwordly chandelier is both solid and translucent, fixed yet always moving. Rain Cloud Flower Bed draws viewers into this surreal, parallel universe with him. Watch the flower faces gently twist as they return your gaze, and imagine an alternate reality where the art watches us as we pass by.
