Thrilled Pomposities

by Evan Jespersen

7051 East 5th Avenue, Suite I
Scottsdale, AZ 85251

On view through October 2013

Tempe artist Evan Jespersen makes work with simple forms and elaborate underpinnings.
This piece was born out of his continuing fascination with kinetics, geometry and process.

Thrilled Pomposities is intended to create a pseudo choreographed dance, a mesmerizing spectacle bent on a visual meditation. Subtle differences in cadence built into the units will consistently change their relationship to one another, altering the dance over time.

This artwork was commissioned by Scottsdale Public Art.
